8. When Alex and Morgan went to The Free Store, Alex got very emotional. I think Alex got emotional because she was so surprised by people's kindness and how much basic things meant to her. You could tell in the movie that even a table and chairs along with some dishes meant a lot to her. 11. I think the underlying feeling that was the cause for conflict between Morgan and Alex was, stress. They were both working a lot of hours everyday and they still had little to no money left over. They were both stressed about making up the money that they needed to survive. The stress, I think, was overwhelming for both Alex and Morgan making getting into an argument easily.
