4)Its very unlikely that the landlord would allow Alex and Morgan to not pay the entire sum in real life. His choice to let them to pay late was probably influenced by the cameras. If I had tried to purchase the apartment I strongly believe he would not have offered this deal. I wouldn't get the apartment because I'm a single white girl. The landlord would probably assume i would be immature and not pay my bills. He would not trust me to pay him back because he would assume I'm unreliable. Which isn't a bad thing, most landlords wouldn't let you not pay the entire sum. The primary reason Alex and Morgan were allowed to pay late is because they had cameras and were reliable adults.
8) Alex was moved by the generosity of the people at The Free Store. She saw that these people were completely pure hearted. The didn't get any money for what they were doing. The smiles the people gave them were enough pay. Now a days people are so greedy. They don't see the point of helping people in need. When Alex ran into these people that helped them when they were down there is no wonder she got emotional. Life is run by money and when people don't play by the rules its shocking.
