Natalie Jacobson Response

1) Morgan and Alex were very good at budgeting for the thirty day period. They made smart, educated choices by figuring out how much money they should spend on rent, food, clothing, furniture, health care and other necessities. Despite their thorough budgeting, they still made a difficult time getting by. This goes to show that even educated, intelligent individuals can have trouble living on minimum wage.

11) Alex and Morgan got into many arguments over finances. I think that the underlying feeling behind their arguments was fear that they wouldn't be able to get by on their low income. Another underlying feeling may have been frustration with their current financial situation. Because they were so concerned with money constantly, they were unable to spend leisure time simply being together and enjoying life. Without that sense of joy and freedom, a relationship can suffer.
