 3. I think that race didn't have a lot to do with Morgan and Alex getting a job or an apartment. Since they were minimum wage jobs and the apartment wasn't in a nice area of town, the fact that they were white probably didn't have a lot to do with them succeeding. They still were living under the poverty line which for me i think groups people together rather than grouping them by race. 8. I think that Sen. Ted Kennedy made a good point about how raising minimum wage would help families because even though other people say that raising minimum wage will also raise the prices of thing, i think that it will still help out families a lot to raise it. Even if you raise minimum wage, people can still shop at places with cheaper items but they will at least have enough money to help pay for their medical insurance and stuff. I definitely agree with Sen. Ted Kennedy that raising the price of minimum wage would help families for the better. Especially families with a lot of people in it.
